Dear Matthew,

Please can you let us know which particular European markets you are considering?

The commercial sections of the British Embassies and High Commissions throughout Europe can do research on your behalf and look for potential distributors. More information on this service from UK Trade and Investment can be found here:

http://www.ukti.gov.uk/export/howwehelp/overseasmarketintroductionservice.html

If you let us know which markets you would like to start with, I'll put you in touch with the appropriate teams.

Regards,

Jennie

Hi Jennie,

Thank you for your reply.

We are looking at finding distributors in Denmark and Scandinavia to start with. We also need to find another client in Norway which is not part of the EU.

We are not a huge company so in regards to ukti will this be an expensive route to take?

Many Thanks,

Matthew

Hugh McAvinue, on behalf of Trade In France UK Ltd. in SP5.

Hello Matthew,

I have just visited your website and I am confident that we can find you sales in the French specialist organic retailers with whom we have close contact. Trade In France has already helped a UK-based organic producer export to France before getting them set up in production in France. I am not too far away from you, being based in Salisbury, and I could come to see you to discuss your requirements further.

Kind regards

Hugh McAvinue

One can look at http://www.eurotradeconcept.eu/food telephone + 31 (0) 10 4588444 or fill out their contact form online.
Have you thought about exhibiting your Superfoods as there is an exhibition for PRODUCTS EUROPE it is at Olympia in London in April 13-14 2014. Should you wish to have a look at www.divcom.co.uk you can download Exhibitor Brochure, Floorplan, and sponsorship opportunities also look at http://naturalproducts.co.uk/contact-us/
the contact is cudunning@divcom.co.uk if not call 01273 645 126 on how to exhibit, and if you want more information on the exhibition and distributors contact 01273 645 110 or fax 01273 645 169. The other way is to go to visit www.growglobal.com and erc@growglobal.com who do an export communication review and can find you overseas partners.
Hope this is of use, and if you go to the Food exhibition hope you enjoy it.

Hi Matthew

I support the advice above to get to know the UKTI network. You can find your local trade adviser at www.ukti.gov.uk

FDEA runs the UK pavilion at Europe's largest trade show for the organic sector, Biofach in Nuremberg, Germany. This is a large trade show with a strong accompanying conference programme. The next edition is 12-15 February 2014.There are UKTI grants for companies to take part

If you feel the time is right to take a stand, do let me know and I can get details of the package and the show sent to you or we could meet up to discuss this and other ways we could help.

Kind regards
Sandra Sullivan

Hello Hugh,

Thank you for your reply, you do not seem to have a way of contacting you directly on here. Yes we would like to talk through this further if possible for distribution in France. If you could email me directly on julianne@creative-nature.uk.com

Dear Matthew

Great to hear that you're looking to export your Superfoods to Europe.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) offers a service called the Export Communications Review (ECR) which can help you to optimise your website for international trade, making you visible in search engines in Europe and other countries.  This will help you to generate sales online, as well as finding new distributors in Europe.

I am the accredited ECR consultant for UKTI in London and the South East  If you'd like to find out more, please take a look at www.growglobal.com under Services or send us a message on ecr@growglobal.com.

Good luck with your international plans!

Caterina Drossopoulou, on behalf of UK Trade & Investment Greece in Greece, Athens.

Dear Matthew

There is an increasing demand for superfoods in Greece and a trend for healthy nutrition. As a result, there are various products sold either in pharmacies, organic food stores and on-line shops like www.organic.gr.com and biosophy.com. There is also a trend for new cultivations in agriculture, since there are Greek products that are considered to be very popular superfoods: tahini, greek pomegranate, greek hippofaeus, sesami, tahini. Although competition is getting harder, I believe that your products can have good potential in the market. If you want UKTI Athens to assist you contacting potential partners/distibutors or customers, do call me at +30210 7272744.

Greetings everyone!

Just registered.
You mention EuroTradeConcept as a potential partner.
Have anyone had experience working with them?
Their procedure to start cooperation seems a bit complicated and involves a bank transfer in their name.

Cheers.

Hi Mathew,

Looks like you have great products there and some really good interest. Have you thought at all about the labelling of the products and how each one might have to be labelled differently to conform with the different standards? i would be more than happy to have a quick chat with you on you labelling requirements.

Kind regards, Mark
