Christopher Willers, on behalf of Access to Export Ltd in CB21.

Dear Donna
My name is Chris Willers and I run an export services company called Access to Export Ltd based near Cambridge. For your export of Glass to Brazil you will need a commercial invoice and packing list as a minimum. You may also require a Certificate of Origin and an insurance certificate dependent upon the terms of sale. The Brazilian import duty and taxes regime is complex and expensive so be careful! The invoice and packing list will need to be in a specific format to include all the necessary information required by Brazilian Customs in order to clear the goods. We regularly ship goods to Brazil and have invoice and packing list templates that are accepted by Brazilian customs so we could prepare the documents on your behalf.
An import licence may well be required before the goods can be imported in to Brazil so this should be checked before arranging the shipment. If you can provide me with some further details of the goods I can ask our local agent to check and advise on the import licence and all the other documents that will be required. Please feel free to contact either by phone 01223 890767 or e-mail chris@accesstoexport.com.
Kind regards
Chris
