Where are you now with your exporting plans?
We manufacture natural fibre filled bedding and currently have some success in selling this into Europe, predominantly to Belgium. We want to export more because we recognise there is a greater appreciation of the fibres we make in the colder climates and Scandinavian countries.

It made us concentrate on what we need to do and what we need to achieve to be successful in exporting to those countries. The competition and Action Plan has focussed our attention on what we need to achieve to be successful in exporting.
And how have you found the experience of the competition today?
We’ve felt welcome and made to feel relaxed by the judges. I was expecting something a little more pressured and overall the atmosphere of the event has a really positive feel.
