Mid Sized Businesses (MSBs)

UKTI provides a variety of support for Mid Sized Businesses

Companies with a turnover of between £25m and £500m are major employers and make an important contribution to the growth of the economy. It’s for this reason that we provide a special package of support specifically for these businesses.

Support from an International Trade Adviser

UKTI has provided additional resources to employ International Trade Advisers to work specifically with Mid Sized Businesses, and bring knowledge and expertise based on personal experience of international business in the private sector. They will work with you to develop strategies to enter or grow, market share in overseas markets. They will help you find contacts or information sources and discuss the best market entry model, including licensing, joint venture, or outward investment etc. Their role is to help your business to grow.

ITAs do not charge for their time. Their job is not to act as an export manager but

rather as an external adviser and client manager. They can help your company access support and knowledge from UKTI market and sector experts both in the UK and our 160 locations in 111 countries overseas. They offer independent advice tailored to your specific product or service need.
